School Projects

  • Water Treatment Plant I made this fly through for my water supply engineering course. The design was carried out by my team, but the animation was a solo project built from scratch. This was completed having inspiration from the other water supply videos, but I added my own take on it.

  • Geotech - Slope Stability Analysis This was for my Geotech II class last quarter that required my group to determine a critical failure surface. Again I felt like doing more, so I drew it up on Sketch-Up outlining the critical failure surface. I don't want to bore you with calculations, so this picture is the only "fun" thing to show from it. I'm sure no one wants to see a self generated spreadsheet showing our Modified Bishop's or Ordinary Method of Slices calculations.

  • Timber Design I have been looking forward to this class my entire college career. The model was something that I've always wanted to build, but I didn't realize the time it required. I calculated about ~80 man-hours split between the four group members. This does not include drawing the CAD files from scratch for the floor, roof, and wall framing. We finally finished and here is the final product:

  • Transportation Engineering I made this fly-through via Google Sketch-Up for my Transportation Engineering course.  A simple CAD file was required, but I felt like doing a little extra. This was one of the design projects including a design for a bus station for the City of San Gabriel. This was the first fly-through that I ever made, so excuse the roughness.
